Sex outside of marriage carries with it curses mention in Deuteronomy 23 when any child is conceived out of wedlock is then a bastard even if the couple marries after conception. The term bastard simply means one who was born by non-married parents. The main curse stronghold is that it keeps the child from sharing and experiencing a relationship with God; and even says they will not inherit the Kingdom of God! The Good news is Jesus Christ paid for this sin and the curse can be removed, the child restored and all can be made right again.
