Michael has worked on more than 14 major Hollywood feature films and has become a highly respected Feature Film Animator and Supervisor. Having worked with such directors as Michael Bay, Tim Burton, Chris Sanders, Sam Raimi, Doug Liman, Marc Webb, and companies owned by William Shatner (CORE Digital Pictures), and George Lucas (ILM/Lucasfilm) Michael has had a lot of exposure to high-budget event film-making and visual effects animation. While at ILM, Michael worked with animation director Scott Benza (2 time Oscar nominee for Transformers, Transformers: Dark of the Moon) and director Michael Bay. At ILM Michael won a Digital Artist Award, an internal award at ILM given out for creative excellence for his work on Transformers. Michael went to work for Sony Pictures Imageworks on Disneys "G-Force". He made an impression with Sonys management, even earning an internal award for best animated scene, and was then selected to go onto "Alice in Wonderland", directed by Tim Burton. After working on two features at Dreamworks, "How to Train Your Dragon" and "Megamind", Michael was contacted by Sony Pictures Imageworks to be a part of their new Vancouver studio in a supervisor role.
